Thinking and Making Process

This is a big story includes four small stories around a polar bear, a penguin, a rabbit, a fox, a bear, a cat, and a dog. Each of them tells an unique moments about friendship, love, and family in their lives.

Firstly, I used Botnik. I clicked some random words for my ideas and them of this story. They are some animal words that sticked out the most. So I decided to write about personified animals and cute little bed-time stories.

I tried to use the Otter.ai to talk about some ideas that comes to my mind and record them as fast as possible. Whenever I got stuck, I used Oblique Strategies as a technique to enlighten and help me. For example, I followed the words of “do not afraid of cliche”, and wrote a story of love. Also, I used “Is it finished” to write a really short story. For The Loney Bunny, I wanted it to be a story of waiting and love but not sure where to start. Then I used oblique strategy of “what wouldn’t you do”. Then I came out a story of the grey rabbit buy always waiting and supporting Bunny no matter what happens.

I tried CharNg, trying to make the last one a poem. Although the outcome looked really interesting, but the content did not make any sense. Markov generator, anagram, and N+7 are also really fun and helpful to play with when I want some content shifts and adjustment.
